Although we have a Say's Phoebe nest under our deck, this was taken at Chatfield Reservoir in the south Denver area.

I believe the Say's Phoebe is by far the most common flycatcher species in our area.

Sweet light and color palette, great HA, perch. Checks all the boxes. You're making the most of the mullein perches.

Looks like a David Sibley painting. Perfect in all ways. The BKGR colors are sublime. The bird is Say's Phoebe with an apostrophe. Love the image design as well.

You should patent those mulleins ...

Looks great. Nice to see Tyrannidae getting some love. So envious of your Mullein. We have no such perches here. Just tangles and bushes.

    This is stunning Brian.
The light, the IQ, the wonderful perch are all A++++. But the crowning glory is that unusual peachy colored BG.How the heck
do you get these birds to perch on muellin. We have this plant in NS but I have only seen savannah sparrows use them as a perch.
Congrats on being our newest moderator. Enjoy the ride and experience!

The soft light is very nice and that background. The feet gripping the top of the perch another bonus.

Another beauty Brian....The 'peachy' colours are fab, what a difference a nice BG makes, especially when the IQ on the bird is spot on....Lovely pose, perch and HA...The facial expression is priceless....Very nice work and congrats on becoming a moderator.

Arash, very much appreciated. We are fortunate to have an abundance of Mullein here - would you believe each shot I've posted recently of a subject on Mullein was in a different location?

Gail, so thankful for your amazing words. That's a lot of pluses haha :-)

Try playing some audio and see what happens. At times I can't get a thing to land but other times it works great.

And thank you for your kind mod remarks; hope I can service the community well like you did!
