    Default Greenie in the green...

EOS R6 RF 100-500 RF 1.4xtc @700 f10 1/1000 ISO 25600 HH, manual EXP cropped for better composition (full auto face/animal/eye detection for AF)

Created just before sunset on very stormy evening. Drizzling but no lightning during bike ride. Laid in water for a few to hope this beauty would get close. Again bumped noise sliders one notch in DPP and one round of NI.

Well David, kudos again for both pushing the ISO which few ever do here and to your PP, it looks very good, albeit I think you again lightened the image.

Good that you got the eye clear and a nice low angle, but having the subject parallel did work in your favour. It has a slight magenta cast again, so pull back the Tint slider going to the left, more green works. Nice definition in the plumage, but a Midtone Curves at around 40% helps, likewise just tweaking the greens in HSL to get more depth in there helps, but again, I appreciate your limitations, so no worries. Eye detection helped here, but I've found one subject so far where it doesn't work, but will post that in Wildlife when I'm home, so does Animal Eye detection work, yes, but not always.

For ISO 25600 I think you done real good here David....Natural looking frame and yes , nice that you got the eye clear...If mine, I would clone out the OOF grass across the neck.

The image quality is very good for that ISO. Nice stalking pose.
