I like it and I suspect you thought about colours and depth of colour but to me the image and Nyala in particular looks a little pale/washed out. Gabriela sees these far more frequently than I ever will so I expect I am going to shoot myself in the foot! I made an alternative and tried to post it but I am losing patience in uploading, I have waited 5 min so far so I am calling it a day.

Aaaaargh Jon, looks like it's not just me battling with the Internet connection! So sorry my friend...Regarding Steve's Nyala, I thought about the colours too. But knowing to some extent his thinking when he processes - as well as looking at techs - I assumed the light was quite flat at the time. So yes I think his rendition of the species is accurate, given the conditions.
