    I captured this image at the Fire Bush in my backyard yesterday afternoon. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    This may be the finest non-flashed hummer image I have ever seen. I just love the soft light and the pose. Not too mention the pastel colors.

    Joe, beautiful pose, wing position and the color pop in the fire brush is astounding!

    I like the subject in the right corner as presented, and could also see a version with a sliver off the bottom, cropped just above the last fire bloom on the bottom left.

    For me, the subject feels quite grainy and there appears to be a sort of hazy silhouette around the subject as if from the transition between denoise bkg and the subject. Would be worth revisiting that I think.

    Hi Artie, a selection in Lightroom of the background to soften it, minus sharpness, minus clarity and a tad minus saturation.
