    Two weeks later, the same runt (posted before) of a litter of 3 runs up the bank. Black downy feathers gone, grey and brown juvenile feathers in place. Oh, and, growing into those feet. This is a common gallinule chick. Caught during evening bike ride. ISO 10000 courtesy of Elsa...

    Really like the pose, foreground and overall composition. My first thought was to clone the grass going across the foot, but I'm actually ok with it, as I am with the diagonal blades to the left of the bird. I might crop a smidgen off the RHS, but I like how it looks with the rising bank. I might sharpen the head/eye area a bit too. ISO 10000..amazing!

    Too sweet. I love the raised foot. The surroundings are rather bright IMO, you could try reducing the luminosity around there. Good stuff though!

    The raised foot is great. Yes to bringing down the grass some.
