Another Bluebird (female) nest building frame...
First time I have ever imaged Bluebirds, they are fast little birds, fly like Martins or swallows..

Nice one Dan, definitely not an easy subject to grab in flight but you seem to have nailed it. I wish that one twiggy piece of grass wasn't overlapping its face, might be worth cloning out. I also think it might benefit from a crop with the bird further to the left in the frame as opposed to center or left of center.

Really digging the electric blue poking through the wings. Wonderful detail and light. TFS.

Dan, I like this frame. The choice of composition is pleasing (a touch more left might not hurt) and the bkg compliments nicely.

Nice pop of blue iridescence here with the light angle, despite the sun appearing higher in the sky. Food in mouth def tells a story.

The eye seems a touch over-sharpened, or at least compared to the head, so you might be inclined to add some selective sharpening on the head around the eye. Some halo in areas, esp the talons sticking out behind.

Well done Dan....These guys must fly real fast...At 1/5000 still a wee bit motion blur on the wing tips, but for me this adds to the image and brings it 'alive'....Nice details and a killer BG.

lovely shot Dan, I agree re. getting rid of the single strand crossing above its eye. In a perfect world the primaries would have been less worn out but that is nature. If mine I'd apply a bit more finer sharpening (lower radius) to avoid halos

Just a good as the last one. I do like the background and the nesting material.
