This one is stunning beyond belief. I Leo how the orange/buff tones on the young bird pick up the tones of the beach below. The feathers of young birds wear faster than the feathers of the adult birds. Note the worn primary tips on this youngster. The a/1 with the 200-600 is indeed deadly even in low light. And it is more deadly in Arash's hands.
Folks interested in the a1 should see today's blog post here. It is titled: Inked By a Squid! Is the SONY Alpha a1 Really Worth $6500? And Would You Spend 80 Minutes on This Image?

You have shown us some great Peregrine images Arash...But this one IMO must be one of your best....Considering the speed that these birds fly, you have captured beautiful detail...The BG shows the bird perfectly, and the pose is spot on for me...
Very well done and TFS

thanks Dan. There is no smog in SoCal at this location. It’s just clouds.

Terrible shot! Maybe one day I can get such a terrible shot - if - I'm terribly lucky! Man the detail and color! Just love it.

The pose is great. Reminds me of a fighter jet.

Artie most juvenile raptors have larger feathers ,makes it somewhat easier for flight I suppose. It is a learning process.
