Hi John. This is really nice! Great low pov, pose, sharp and HA. I'm not familiar with this species, but my first thought was that it looks a little bright (on my monitor), and so it could use a little reduction. I googled images of this bird and most had darker plumage, but as i don't know the bird it's really your take here. Personally I'd crop some off the bottom, as I feel the grey is a little over kill here.

John, so simple and so engaging. I love when you bring these super shallow dof shots on the fine sand.

Light angle and quality is superb. Great job with the slight foot raise and love the details.

I agree with Paul, maybe just taming the whites a hair might enhance the frame but it's lovely as presented!

I like how you roll, looooooow! Great POV and the stepping motion makes this one for me.

Very nice Image. This image made me remember my trip to Nickerson Beach to see Piping Plovers.

Hi John ... almost perfect for me .
Nice subject , lovely fine details rendered , love the low POV in combo with good composition .

Might just try to " burn " the real bright tones a bit . If you know how .... it should be the red channel that can stand some burning

I've looked at this one for a week. I love the pose and the clean sand but it looks too light overall and the color looks off to me ...

    with love, artie
