    Red-necked-Grebe defending his nesting territory. Shot in Nd Turtle Mountains, close to the Canadian border. I left the fine feather on the bill and tongue. Shot from my floatable blind. Processed with Dpp 4, Photoshop Topaz noise. Comments and critiques appreciated.

    Nice low angle and calling pose. The soft reflection is nice. Maybe a touch too bright.

    Kevin, really nice canvas!

    The greens and blues work great with the neutrals on the subject and I love the yellow on the beak. Calling pose rocks!

    I'd love to see a sliver off the bottom and I think it could use a bit of boost in the upper mid range. I think you can bring out a pop of color in this image that would massively enhance it.

    Good low angle, bird position and lighting with calling an added bonus.
    Could be lower in the frame losing some of the reflection which isn't outstanding enough to be featured.

    I like this lots. Good low angle, nice calling pose, perfect sharpness. I do find the WB a bit on the cool side, but nonetheless a highly appealing image.
