Another Gannet shot from a recent shoot (hope my Gannet shots are not getting boring) This one is as sunset was approaching.

D500/500PF, 1/2500th sec@f5.6, iso1600. Basic adjustments in ACR and PS. Some noise reduction and small crop for presentation. Cheers.

Sweet light and beautiful top side view. Love the sky and water as backdrop. Very minor nit; wish for this beauty to be completely up against those sunset clouds. A wonderful canvas overall and your images are never boring. Keep them coming and TFS.

Great dorsal view. I'm OK with where the horizon line crosses the wing tip. I love the hint of cloud - it adds a lot to the sky portion of the frame.

Looks great to me. I love dorsal flight shots like this. Nice setting.

Great capture Paul! The diving pose with full spread works really well!

Lighting looks sweet and solid details. I see why you chose a more boxy crop but I wonder if you could sneak in a 5x7 and still leave room above and below the wings?

Really like this. Q though - is there a dust spot just above the 3 o'clock position toward the right side?

Hi Jay. Thank you. Yes..that's a dust spot. I have the one lens on my camera all the time, so not sure why. I'll check the photo again on my pc and fix it. Cheers.
