    Default European hare

This subject for me is all about the waiting game and trying to second guess, as they have many areas of land to roam in, but having watched for two days this guy does make an entrance in the morning, when... well who knows. They tend to use the tractor lines as highways and where presented with any danger they can just turn left or right and disappear into the wheat.

This is using the ultra low hide, one of two new hides I've purchase and built/made for photographers, but it just delivers this wonder low POV you want. This took just over two hours, from setting up at 5.45am to get 2 minutes of hare time.

Thanks to those who viewed or commented on the previous posting.

Steve I was expecting this one - well done .....I just new it was coming!! Spot on ideal DOF and focus etc the low angle really takes the viewer there, a lot of patience observation and hard work duly rewarded!!
I have been looking for tractor lines but the ones I have seen to date in the ideal location have not proven fruitful.
Now go back again and get a leveret!

Cheers Jon, did I send you Harvey head on at full tilt?

Hi Steve ... really love the low POV and those leading lines from the FG to the BG .
Just wish for a more attractive pose of the Hare .... he seems to look at the viewer , ready to take flight

Processing does look good , regardless which kit you use .... .... good to see you are not having issues with the larger file and getting them down to BPN size without visual quality loss

    Dear Steve,

This is probably one of the best hare images I have seen in this forum, great POV and composition and I like the colours, very natural. Love the pose, somewhat mischievous but also shy at the same time. Glad to see you are enjoying the R5, nice image quality and superb PP work as expected.

Truly sorry I have not been able to participate in the forum for a very long time and hope you and the members will forgive me. Been around since 2013 but struggling lately due to time constraints and work issues as well as moving to a new place.

Really enjoyed viewing this image tonight.

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
