First post, new member, etc. Hello to all. This looks like a great site and already know I will have to limit my time at the forum.

This was taken in Gadsden, AL last Oct when water levels were low and Egrets were having great luck fishing. It was in early morning. Looking back should have changed to a lower ISO. Looking forward to other suggestions.

    Hi Richard,

    Big welcome to BPN!

I see your self critique about the ISO, you could have also stopped to at least f/8 for extra sharpness and DOF, not that important in this case because the bird is almost totally parallel to the sensor.

Very elegant image and reflection, I think it needs and bit of CCW rotation, not much. (The ripple looks inclined?)

We hope to make your BPN experience an exciting one :)

Welcome, Richard. Very nice image, the catch adds to it. In addition to what Fabs said, you could apply some S/H so the BG is a bit brighter and you could tone down the highlights a bit.

Welcome Richard !!!! .... for straightening the image try using the ruler tool and draw a line from the eye to eye reflection Usually is the surest way !!!!
