Osprey in flight this morning.
Taken at 5:46 am, sunrise is 5:21...
Sun directly behind me at this Osprey nest.
This is as good as it gets where I live.
D500, 700mm, (500ps w/ 1.4), f8, 1/2500, iso1250
PP in Capture one, Affinity photo.
Is sharpening, etc, better on this, I think I have processing down without Photoshop..
Get off the Adobe train...
Dan I have never had a good view of an osprey yet alone got a decent photograph, having said that I think it's a fine capture but I am a little unsure over the processing. Have you applied NR, it looks a little smooth to me....... but that may be because I haven't photographed one!
Nice stick for the nest. Nice light. There is a shadow under the primaries of the near wing that would have been eliminated had the wing been fully raised. Sharp and nicely processed. I am not a fan of the far shoreline cutting though the subject. An all-green BKGR would have been mega.
with love, artie
