Hi Bill. This is very nice. Has a lovely atmosphere, with the bird posed against the lovely autumn colours of that beautiful BG. Two minor nitpics: HA could be a couple of degrees towards us, and the shadow between the wings draws my attention. Is this a large crop?

BG, light, colours, and comp all good. I agree with Paul about head angle. Shadow too, but I can live with it.

BG is killer although maybe some more NR on it?? HA is ok, a flight portrait of a Juvie is unique.

Bill, an astounding backdrop you got here. Just awesome.

You made a common species look fantastic here. I too would have given a left pinky toe for some head and eye connection.

Did everything you could here. Nicely presented sir!

A very pleasing and unusual image I like the colours and you did well with the bird - sharp and good DOF. I am sure if you had an ideal head angle you would have posted it.

Very nice flight frame of this red-tail. Love that color in the background.
