    Default Sunset Darter in flight

Sometimes you get very frustrated. I manage to get this Australasian Darter in flight at sunset at Shornecliffe Pier (my Gannet go to hot spot). However my favourite photo has the lower far wing clipped, and with no other full lower wings in the burst I was not able to effectively repair the wing tips. So...this is my second favourite. Ideally the bird's head would be clear of the far wing and at a better head angle, but I really like the colours here so thought it was worth posting. Minor adjustments in ACR and canvas added to left and top in PS. Cheers.

Hi Paul, great view of the near wing and nice and sharp. Light looks good too. As you stated, the only nit would be the head intersecting with the far wing.

Good critique of yours. I do like the light and that background. Nice view of the near wing.

Hi Paul nice flight shot , I am fully ok with the image .
Might be not ideal with the wing ... but I would not delete it .
Color and tone looking good , as does the detail .

Paul, a very pretty canvas. I love the horizontal blue layers in the back and beautiful light and matching details on the subject.

Aside from a bit of wing separation and a little better eye contact there's not much to gripe about from my seat.

    Well done overall!

near wing is nice but the far wing and the head passed us spoils this one for me
