Exquisite. The full upstroke and the sand eel are beyond perfect. My only wish would be for the bird to be a bit farther back in the frame for better compositional balance. IAC, this is a superb image.

John, just super my friend. A real wow factor on this one.

As mentioned, the wing position AND the fish... yeah that's sweet. But drop in the stupendous color palette and this is just awesome.

I dig the composition as is. Only thought is to see what could be done with the abrupt gradient around the sun. Might be the way it was saturated or however you added contrast but I'd take a glance and see if you can smooth this out.

Really liking your Theme shots this month!

Bird and eel are exquisite, as is the BG. Tough to deal with setting sun. This is lovely as is, but I might try a version where you paint out the burnt portions of the sun.

No nits from me John...love it! However, for those wanting the white section removed this took 10 seconds using content aware fill.

Hi John, if silhouettes were on this months theme, this would win hands down. Striking colours and love the bands across the sky. Well captured.

How cool is that! Or is it warm with that beautiful light?. I'm surprised at how much I like the sun-less version, but I like them both.
