    Default Osprey topside.

I have a great eye level nest and always have nice incoming flight shots but don't get the banking pose
low enough to get many topside images so I was happy with this one.
This is an Osprey in full on chase of an intruder to the nest site at top speed.
BG is water, calm day, Columbia river reflection.

The pose, composition, background, and head angle are all fantastic! Exposure on the high-contrast subject looks great. My only issue is that the bird looks a bit painterly, as though some of the fine feather detail has been smoothed out.
That could result from either processing or a heavy crop. But a really sweet frame on the whole!

Ditto Dorian's comments. The whites look toasted.

I like the topside view against the nice clean BG. the bird is sharp and the whites look good from here . I think the fine details Dorian is mentioning might show better if you used the smart sharpen workflow.

Beautiful green BG, neat pose, perfect head angle. To me the whites on top of the head surely have more detail hidden in there - and the whites on the top wing are clipped. Other than that, very pleasing image.

The green background sets the osprey off nicely. I do like the dorsal view.

Very cool top view perspective, love the background too.
