Really nice! You have captured most of the attributes that make this a special bird for me. Your colors and fine feather detail are great. Background complimentary; perch indicative of this bird's desert environment. These guys are not always easy to capture-constant motion and a tiny bird.

Lovely. I wish I could find one of these in my files. These are such sweet little bird, with beautiful songs. You caught him in a great pose and nice desert environment. Nicely done.

Another good one, maybe a bit overcooked sharpening wise, but just a bit. Nice frame.

Excellent frame of this tiny desert dweller. Lovely view of the yellow and red field marks. Sharpening looks fin to me. Love that eye contact.

Can we assume that this -- and the recent Pyrrhuloxias -- were set-ups with lured birds?

Very nice shot. I like it. This is one species I want to photograph.

I am also thinking that this was taken at feeder set up.

    Correct me on the same.

yes, definitely a setup. Just feeder for him, no call was used. Sorry if I’m supposed to say that in my post?

Kurt, not much to nit here my man. I've never seen this species but it sure is sweet.

Great job with the perch and execution. Tone and colors are great.

Curious how much crop on this one?

This is a perfect textbook shot of a verdin- right down to the rust shoulder patch.
Very nice processed with a great complimentary BG.

Wow, what a beautiful bird, not familiar to me. I echo all the positive comments. Really nice image... thank you for sharing, Kurt.

Great pic Kurt, nice and sharp with great pose, is the bird grey or is that part of the processing?

Hi Kurt ... indeed a very nice overall shot .
Pretty looking little bird ... nice color and tones .

On a purely personal preference I would go slightly lower on the output sharpening ....
