My favorite of your vulture posts so far Wayne! I like the head angle with him looking back. If mine I might consider increasing the exposure about a third of a stop, seems a tad under to me.

This is much better than the one you posted and fell in love with. HA is way better, good eye contact, wings are what they always are with the species but nice underwing detail.
Blue sky on the edge of too blue for me, but that is personal..

Yes, this is certainly the best of the vulture bunch, especially with the curious look on his face.

That said, the flat wing pose leaves a lot to be desired. Without any banking, the bird's presence in the frame is minimized. He's too long and skinny, and the OOF mountain behind
overpowers him. In this instance, it would help if the mountain were closer and had a tiny bit more texture. It's so far off that it does more to distract to add.

Another piece of advice (which I'm sure Arash will echo): the tripod absolutely kills you for flight work. You cannot capture the most dynamic moments when your rig is tethered. You're
going to be stuck with flat-wing, gliding poses unless you can get the rig off the tripod, learn to handhold, and track more dynamic action.

while this is better than the other ones, but it is not a strong image as Dorian also mentioned. I think your hummingbird image is what we can certainly call an attractive image but this is not all that great . The strong shadows and the flat wing position don't quite work for me. There is no dynamic element, no sense of motion.... and the belly looks sharper than the head to my eye.
    image has too much contrast....

I agree with Dorian 100%, I am going to be honest with you, if you cannot hand hold you it will be very difficult to make keeper flight images beyond just a snap shot. I emailed you my BIF guide, I hope you find it useful.

You have been given some great advice above!

I like the way the birds head is turned. Looks sharp to me.
