I did get a better composition a few frames previously but the image is a larger crop. No opportunity to improve composition in this particular location, as soon as I realised I need a bit more at the base he was off.
I have just noticed the unusual markings on the cheek and notched ear, I'll be on the look out for this one again.

    Hi Jon ... a lovely subject .
Nice posing ... in an ideal world the angle would have been better .
Overall color and tones are looking good and the detail and fine structure came out nicely ... wish I would see that in every posting of yours

Think the the image could stand a bit of a exposure lift .

Hi Jon, kudos in getting close on this one. Overall nice colour and detail is far improved, ditto the backdrop, not so 'impressionistic'.

The head does need a slight turn towards camera and as noted, the main flaw is too little below and on the RHS. Fingers crossed for more and other species. Re the others species, they do tend to move on a regular basis, every 2-3 days.

Thanks Andreas Steve, the grass was darkened a little and the hare was brightened a little compared to the original capture. I do intend to go back repeatedly, I am not sure how much time I will have left as the crops are growing quickly now the weather is warming.

Indeed it is Jon, camped out already at 6.00am and it is a dizzy 13 degrees and rising, happy shooting.

Decided against pursuing, I think the likelihood of getting good quality images very limited and there would be the slight possibility of attracting attention.
