Here's another roadrunner portrait. His beak is pretty roughed up. They clean them by wiping on rocks, so not much I can do about it. he has a couple of tidbits around his bill. Decided to leave them in since he was looking for stuff in the weeds.

Love the background and the sharp eye and eyelashes. The bill is the bill. It looks as if it were driving pea soup. A bit more room above and right would not hurt this one.

Beautiful colors and tones, you are really doing well in post IMO. That peachy desert canvas is so nice and the details rock!
Personally, I don't mind the tight portrait crop. Maybe next time you can wave a hotdog around and see if he'll go ever slightly more even with the sensor so you can get the beak tip and head feather IF ;-)
