    The full turn of the barrel, at a fairly slow shutter speed.

    D200, 200-400/4 @ 3340mm
    S (Canon's Tv) 0.4 of a second.
    f/ 25, ISo 800

    Nice shot Fabs. I've tried this sort of thing with a manual zoom barrel but it hasn't produced a twirling effect yet...although one shot I am proud of is a city scape taken with a barrel turn. Any tips for these creative scapes?

    Paul, thanks! I find zoom blurs work nicely with cityscapes. Use single point AF, focus in what you want the center to be, and zoom away :)
    I will post a bird zoom blur tomorrow!

    Thanks for the details Fabs. Although single point AF is not available on my camera model (well, the model I used). Well, at least I don't think it is. Its not a DSLR. It was a cityscape at night. On my Flickr profile but will post here tomorrow :)

    hmmm, such a cool idea fabs. Have to consider that when I head back out to Arizona in february :-D
