Here is another roadrunner from late in the afternoon on the same day as the last one. I was waiting for him to fly off the high perch, but unfortunately he only jumped down. But as a result, I was shooting Av at ISO 3200 which resulted in a higher SS if you're wondering about thee specs.

This is stunning Kurt. For me, checks all the boxes - unique perch, full broadside view with slight head angle toward the lens, colorful, mottled bkg.... and look at those tail colors!

The detail and tonal range looks great to my eye. Not much to improve here, well done!

That is a super shot, the pose and the sky really show the bird to good effect. Details and colours are really good.

Very well done on all counts. Love the perfect head angle and the open bill. But not stunning or super in my book.

Hi Kurt ... very , very nice image of these cool characters .

I really like the overall tone and color palette , looks well processed to me .

I think there is a typo in your intro .... or have you shot this at 1/16000 sec .

Very Nice Image. Is it only me or do I wish for more head turn?

May be too large in the frame as well for me.

    Well done.

Classic Roadrunner image. Pose, perch and background all wonderful. IQ good as well. Wouldn't mind a bit more space, but lovely as posted. Nicely done.

it's a string frame, with a snake in its bill it would become stunning :D

Great frame of this roadrunner. You can really see how long the tail is. The blue and green in the background go great together.
