nice look down the barrel and open bill plus the iridescent colors are nice as well.
The face looks a bit crunchy on my screen, the BG is a bit distracting and also noisy/grainy. I wish you had shot from slightly higher angle. the composition is too centered and too much empty space IMO. I'd present this as a portrait.

Hi Eric,
This one is close, but. I like the singing pose. The biggest problem is the white area directly behind the bird's head. If you could have moved a yard or two to your left, you might have avoided that. And depending on the situation, striating with a vertical might have made it easier to create a pleasing composition. As is, it is awkward. Lets see some more!
