Hello Eric, nice framing, perch and EXP. I like the BG too.

Welcome back, Eric! Excellent to see you posting. Great bird, good perch, sharp enough. Well-balanced placement of the bird within the frame. I'm personally not a big fan of the very bright highlights in the BG mixed in with the greens - I'd prefer all green, or all white if going high-key...therefore placing your perch in an alternate spot (if a setup) would be a good thing IMO. I love the top foot wrapped around the stick - preyty neat.

Nice view of this oriole. I like the framing and the looking down pose. The way the foot grips the perch is nice.

The bird looks terrific, color, whites and blacks are perfect.

I like the bird, perch could be prettier but not bad. I find the BG too distracting there is some noise in the greens

Eric, nice image to view. I like that you played with the panoramic crop and love the pose on the perch.

Image looks nice and sharp. I may be in the minority but to my eye it has a slight haziness/flatness to it - independent of some natural image noise. I might be tempted to play with a little masked selective color layer or even curves to adjust a touch of contrast, giving depth or clarity to the sharpness.

Anyhow, appreciate the post and lots of great aspects here!
