I made this image in North Dakota.

I spoke with Kevin Hice and drove to North Dakota. He was really generous and helped me find the lek and helped me set up my Blind. It was a wonderful experience and One I would never forget.
I am so excited by these birds that I am planning to go again to photograph other Grouse Species next Year.

    Thank you Kevin.

Your finest Krishna, this is top shelf and a work of art. Congratulations. The action captured and the interaction, the unusual positions and the kicked up storm of grass all against the gorgeous BG, what a beauty, wow

    This is superb!
Simply unbelievable action, sharp, superb light and POV.
Love the flying feet and the kicked up grasses and dust.
So good to be able to see the closed eye of the bottom grouse

must be a nice image. It's too small on my monitor to make out what's happening but I bet the original is nice sweet light.

DATPCA. Yes, a superb frame. The only thing lacking is a better look at both faces. What date? Kevin is a very good man.

First thing I noticed was the sweet light and love the flying grass. Too bad about the head turn. Happens most of the time or closed membranes or eyes. Loved the feet kicking out. Still a fantastic image Krishna and was glad to help enjoyed our visit. TFS

Great action. Love the golden tones of the foreground/background. Nice detail on the birds. Light is nice as well.
