    Gail"

Nice pose, creamy smooth background, color harmony, interesting detail on the perch, well exposed.

I am going to miss Iceland!

Nicely composed and good to see all the feet, very nice indeed. My only suggestion would be to have a look at the dark area between beak and eye to see if a little detail could be teased out.

Beautiful look back and ever so regal. Love the rock this rock ptarmigan chose and that sweet farmers field that leads to the ocean. Good show of the feet and variety of feather color in molt. Sharp and terrific IQ.

Lovely image. Nice pose and perch. Really like the dual color backdrop, I just wish it was level all the way across.

Beautiful image, love Grouse. Background colors are fantastic as mentioned. Love the rock with the lichens. Personnel taste just wish more of the beautiful rock adds so much to the image. TFS

Smiles, the show was wonderful. I became acquainted with birds I was not familiar with. Nice image, complimenting colors, sharp detail, interesting perch. Thank you for sharing, Gail.

Lovely look at this species with a super, lichen enriched perch and super bkg.

I'm sure you checked, but the whites in a few spots seem like they might be pushing 250+ so may be worth a check.

Otherwise, just gonna sit back and enjoy this one!

Great bird, background, and look-back pose. Opening up the face a bit might not hurt. Love those legs.

Very nice. Like the gradient the background makes. Nice look back pose. Also like how the bird is almost at the top of the rock.
