One from my week of work/play in Vermont over the 4th. Of course I never saw this in the finder just while deleting at 100% !!! 1dm3 on 500f4 - hand held in canoe - f6.3 at 1/1600 - manual exposure, AF on AiServo.

Don't you just LOVE those kiinds of surprises??? Well, I like the image very much as you presented it but I would also encourage you to cut it off where the head meets the body and see what you think. That would take it even further OOTB! It's a lovely image - might want to play with levels a bit to bring a little detail back into that very black head but overall I really like this!
