    Default Eurasian Oystercatcher

Taken in Iceland, 2019. In a farmer's field where there were several and a hundred terns above. I love the yellows throughout and i didn't attempt to clean up the poop on the rock, it is a popular perch. Notice the soil on the tip of the beak as they would occasionally probe for insects.

Nice pose and exposure. But it's the sweet setting that really makes this one; lovely foreground and background. Nicely done.

Excellent on all counts . Nice design. Perfect pose and HA. And I love the rocky perch. My favorite part are the o-o-f seed heads.

What a beautiful scene that was! Next time we have to bring a (mini) power washer to remove bird poop from the rocks- especially Grimsey! haha!
I love the perky pose, nice HA and the yellows in the BG.
    Well done,
    Gail

Love how the background is "layered" with that beautiful color. Nice of the bird to pose on that rock for you.

Love it the composition and the position of the bird tell a lovely story. The background is absolutely super, I would much rather see one like this than a featureless smooth background.

Stunning Ann! Kudos on this one, from the bright and attractive bkg colors to the lovely flowers in front.

Great to see this one in environment. Must be a pretty desirable perch for the locals in those parts ;-)

    TFS!
