Was able to get this image at the water ranch after Brian had to leave (sorry Brian, wish you were there when this happened) and the sun finally made it's way out.

    Stunning BIF image.
Fantastic wing position, great BG, sharp, beautiful light.
Only question I have is "Did you have to work on the white feathers on the back? They look a bit greyed out.
A superb frame and I wish this was mine,

Superb shot. Great wing position, colors, BG. And water drops. Very nicely done.

Perfect parallel pose, great colours. If you could seamlessly fill the faint pale line running along across the top with some adjacent BG that would clean up that area so well. I could also see a crop from below to just above your signature, the subject feels high in the frame IMO. Stunning frame overall!

The curved wing tips are great. I like the framing and that green background.

Holy buckets is this nice Kurt!

You captured the iridescent colors masterfully. Super sharp up to the wing tips and the background (I think I might know that one?) is just beautiful in contrast.

Nailed this one. You might consider just a very slight dodge of the shadows underneath if they'll take it. Otherwise, it's a real winner!

pretty neat dynamic frame of the shoveller. love the iridescent colors, the only point I can make is to get rid of the grey band on the top of the BG.

Even though the bird is angling away from you I love this one because of the incredible look at and detail in the dorsal surface of the near wing. The flight pose and sharpness are amazing. I cleaned up the BKGR a bit and removed two tiny specks from that gorgeous green head. BKGR clean-up using mostly Content Aware Fill and the Patch Tool. Removed the two tiny specks with the Spot Healing Brush. And painted in some BKGR smoothing using a Gaussian Blur and an Inverse Layer Mask. All as detailed (plus tons more) in Digital Basics II.
