Does anybody know where I can find more information on Canon 580EX (I or II), particularly the custom function settings? The Instruction Manual come with the flash is almost hopeless! I have a few more questions:
1) In manual seeting, the flash at 1/1, 1/2, 1/4....1/64, 1/128, what will be the flash duration for each of these power setting?
2) I did an experiment and set my flash power at 1/32 on 1DMII with custom function CF6 (580EXII) turn on (for 580EX is CF8), the flash seems to be able to keep up with the 8fps, but am I getting the full 1/32 flash power?
3) As Canon flashes can not be triggered optically (other than at master/slave mode), is there any recommendation for 3rd party optical trigger sensor?
