    Default Forster's tern

Forster's terns have started to arrive, got a couple of frames this evening. not too active yet. I liked this frame with the tiered BG.

A1 and 600 GM 1/4000 sec f/4 ISO-1250 handheld processed with C1P. The A1 AF system is simply amazing, hundreds of tack sharp frames with the bird coming at you in just a couple of seconds! Only 3 years ago frames like these were anything but easy with the Canon 1DXII, far and few in between... what a joke it was when I look back today.

Looking good Arash., tack sharp and I like the BG. The water drop adds to the composition. Glad you love the new gear. I know it's probably not a halo, but I'd remove the very thin dark strip on the inside of the left (as we look at it) wing. I've recently learned how to do this in Photoshop, but you probably already know how.

    Beautiful frame.
Love the light, the incoming pose and the BG.
    So nice and sharp.
It is a bit unfortunate that the tail feather intersects with the beak.
    Well done!

Hi Arash, just about perfect as always. Lovely image of a tern. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice. Really dig that gradient the background creates. The water drop of the bill is nice as well.

That drip of water....adds a lot...capturing it, especially on a fast flying bird is pretty cool....Wouldn't change a thing....TFS

Sublime BKGR and the drop puts it over the top. The a1 is the best camera body I have ever used by miles. And not just for AF.

    With love, artie
