    This is very eye-catching; I like the colors, the sharp detail and the repeating patterns.

    Good stuff! It's so easy to overdo on the reds and you got the saturation just right!

    Hi Richard,
    I like your composition and subject matter. The reds are not blown and you have good details. Question? The more I look at the flower, the more I see that the image is a bit flat. What color space are you using?
    RGB or sRGB? This is a RAW image converted to jpeg?

    P.S. I think I see the problem...:confused: You used a ring flash...:o Ring flashes tend to flaten the image, they take all the contrast out...:cool:

    Gus, I wondered if I set the flash to be more one-sided if it would have given it more texture. I'll have to experiment.

    Hi Richard that is correct Moving he flash around will give you shadows Worth experimenting.

    For this image would consider stopping down for max dof Would really like seeing it all sharp. Can go a lot higher with the ISO in your camera and sure like the reds !!! Just perfect !!!
