Here's another Gannet dive taken recently. Hope you don't get bored with them. Cheers. Didn't have to add any canvas etc this time

Paul, for me, the best of the series. Water is not quite as distracting and nice, even light on the subject, which is sharp.

I'd probably consider cloning the bubbles down near the beak and the white wash in the wake on the upper left, but this works nicely I think!

PS - if you had room above and below, I might try a 2x3 crop and lose some on the right only because I think the subject might present a touch better being more right in frame.

Good series Paul. Beautiful sheen on the back of this youngster.I agree with Brian, maybe just a touch to the right and a touch off the top might give it more space where its heading. Your D500 plus PF going really well! I think I remember Arash saying 'you could fit it in the glovebox' when the PF first

    turned up.

Thanks so much Brian and Ian. Yes to the suggested crop Brian...make sense. I did consider cloning the bubbles, but then decided to leave them...may change my mind though. Ian...yes it's a fairly compact system. No plans to go mirrorless (well not yet anyway)

    Nice and sharp.
If you have more canvas, I would definitely place the gannet towards RUC and put more water in LLC so the gannet has room to dive into.
I am OK with the bubbles,
    Gail

Really enjoying your gannets, yes to more canvas and that would really be helpful. very cool tucked wings and love the lone foot, nice and sharp!

Very nicely done! I also would like to see more room on bottom and left and placement in the upper right corner if you have canvas for that. Love the action!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Here's a repost with the water bubbles cloned out and new crop. I wasn't able to apply a 2x3 crop as there was not enough canvas. Hopefully better? Thanks all.

Super image, I don't see the need to remove the bubbles, I have slight reservations over the crops but you did a good job, fine images.

Nice dorsal flight shot. I like the pose. The blue water is great.
