    Default Kite in rain

This Brahminy Kite was out hunting after a heavy rain was slowly subsiding. Lucky enough to have the sun out in time.

I'm loving this! That light shinning through the wing is precious. Never seen that bird and the rain is a big plus.

Beautiful bird and I must agree that the light through the feathers is special. The background provides hints as to the habitat of this kite, but remains subtle and does not distract me. Love the pose and the composition. Nice job!

Great capture. I like the rain drops and the wonderful light on the kite. It is also tack sharp.

This bird looks extremely bedraggled due to the rain etc., but when seen dry they are a superbly handsome species.

    A pleasing image, Jay!
The light through the wing and the streak add a lot to this ...

Beautifully timed flight capture of this handsome raptor which I've seen in Singapore and Australia's Daintree.
The bokeh also suits my taste.
