Gail and Ann: Would I be a fool to engage in an Icelandic shootout with you two? You're too good. But fool that I am, in the interest of practicing my PP skills, it just so happens that I have a White Wagtail image that I've never posted. So I accept the challenge. This one from Lake Myvatn in 2019.

Hi Bill,
Welcome aboard on the Iceland challenge!
Great image. Your wagtail is in much better plumage than mine.
Love the gray tones in the image. Nice and sharp.
Perfect HA and parallel to the sensor pose.
Only suggestion would be to take a bit off the top or move the bird up in the frame and add a bit more perch in,
Gail
Hi Bill, glad you have joined the Icelandic PP challenge... Indeed sharp and in quite nice feather form, maybe earlier in the season this wagtail was looking so fresh. I agree w Gail's suggestion as the rock has nice interest and would break up so much BG... very nice.
