I am with Dan, fine shot but I'd get rid of the reeds and crop tighter they are just a distraction IMO

I'm with artie. I love the sticks. In part because they are so perfectly positioned and they break up the boring white-sky water ... Different strokes. And I love the high key presentation.

The grebe and reflection are perfect! I'm torn on the stems. They are positioned in an ideal manner, but I wish they were paler, more "leafy" reeds instead of dark "sticks". Very sharp with excellent feather details.

Yes, a great shot...what a cute Grebe. Can't make up my mind over the reeds...but my first thought was that they do distract.
