Shot yesterday in Nd. Sharptails are reluctant to go to higher ground unlike Prairie Chickens. Have baited this boulder and have had a male step up when it got slower on the Lek. This day was not baited and the female was only on the boulder for a short time. Trying to get away from the heavy pressure of the males.
This had a heavy blue cast worked with it for sometime. Yes I lost some IQ but I think pretty amazing how far we have come. Processed with Dpp 4,Photoshop,Topaz noise. IMO Topaz is great all the options you have and the job it does have to watch for any oversharpening is the only downfall.
I looked at a vertical crop but wanted the boulder included. I always liked Wills Red Grouse on a boulder. Comments and critiques appreciated.
