Super-sweet juxtaposition. Love the low angle, the tone of the water, and the o-o-f drake. I only wish for a bit more room below for the reflections.

Thanks Artie wasn't much of a reflection is why I cut it off. I was passing through Denver last month. The opportunities for waterfowl in the winter are amazing. I would have never guessed such a hot spot.

Fun frame with the drake on her tail. Nicely lit, the eye really pops. I definitely like the RP better.

I felt like the OG was just a tad over-sharpened, esp the head feathers above the eye, chest and the neck near the shoulder, but the RP is probably a tad under sharpened. I'd say in between would be spot on.

Good to see two ducks and perfectly positioned in the frame .
Processing looks good overall , well done !!! I can see where Brian is coming from with his thoughts about the sharpness and I would tend to agree somehow .... but it is only a very minor " nit"

I love this concept where the OOF male suggests the identity of the female; I've only been able to execute it with phalaropes where the female is brighter and suggest the male!

Repost with more room is an improvement, but the frame was pretty **** perfect to start with. Golden water is so nice. Looks great for ISO 3200.
