    I am falling back on scanned images from my transparencies. sorry only details Nikon F3, with 80 - 200mm Nikkor zoom.There were the arguments in those days that zoom lenses are not sharp, this one shows the unique feather texture to the extent that it seems over sharpened.They were so habituated that I got this image with such a short tele lens, the only other available was the 500 mm mirror lens or 1000mm mirror lens, then one had lighting problems the one was f8 the other a f11. Enjoy blast from the past.

    Good behavior. The flash looks too strong and so is that sharpening.

    Great moment captured, I also like the angle. It does look oversharpened, though.

    This is scanned from transparency of about 20 yrs ago, not much you can do about sharpening and really no hope in photo shop. the feather texture of the bird is such it gives the impression of over sharpen, they even say that of the transparency, now a trannie is a trannie, Regards
