    I made this image in Bear River Migratory Refuge, UT at Dawn.

    Camera Settings:-

    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/1600 sec; f/5.6; ISO 800
    Manual; Matrix metering


    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P 20
    Slight Cropping
    Nik 35-35 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
    Dodge and Burn
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation

    Fantastic image of this lady; love everything about it. The wide view on the gold is perfect. The small-in-frames are tough to pull off, but you've succeeded brilliantly here. A very memorable image. Might clone the tiny bit of fluff on the beak.

    I always enjoy your photos Krishna. You always succeed in lovely light miss those pastel colors that you seem to get. You did very well here. My personnel taste run towards filling the frame just wish it were somewhat larger. Details in the grasses and the light is what makes this so nice. TFS

    Nice to see the female out in the open. Plenty of room for the bird to look into. Nice light as well.

    I love how the bird and the top of the stem are in perfect focus, f 5.6 was just right. The background colors compliment the overall image. I think the stem below the bird is a little bright.
