Very nice indeed, I like the exposure and sharpening, I know this may sound like double talk coming from me but I would be inclined to remove the shoot going up to his tail. I get the impression you masked the bird to sharpen it - did you? The reason I ask is that there is a very abrupt difference between the subject and background.

Excellent view of this species, Volkan. You can't beat that direct stare and eye contact. Lovely feather detail, especially on the face. Perch is great. The stick intersecting the tail is a bummer but far from a deal breaker. Could be cloned if you desired.

Jonathan, The raw version ( 1920x1280 ) of the photograph is attached. I think there is a background separation with the 800mm effect. thanks for the valuable opinion .

Hi Volkan .... really nice image . Well captured overall and quite good processed .

Personally I would prefer the second version in terms of color .... not sure what you have done , but the " processed " first post looks flat in terms of color variation .
Really like your sharpening routine .... not comparable to most of the " Topazed postings " that are posted . This looks more realistic , more organic than the " artificial " look created by " Topazed images " .... for sure just my personal view .

Volkan, subject looks very nicely processed. Bkg is great.

The thorns on the perch add but otherwise, the stem coming up under the rump of the bird hurts the frame for me.

A pretty canvas but I know you can improve upon this one for sure!

The stick up the butt is an image killer. The repair took all of one minute. The bird in Pane 1 does not look sharp to me. See the next pane on that.

Do you know the scientific or common name of the bird?

I selected the bird (and the perch), put the selection on a layer, and brought the image into Topaz Sharpen AI. Auto selected Stabilize. That indicates a bit or motion blur. I ran it and the image opened again in Photoshop. It looked over-sharpened so I reduced the Opacity of the layer to 50%.

I use Topaz Sharpen AI only rarely. I use Topaz DeNoise on virtually every image that I process. Both are astounding. Go to my blog at www.BIRDSASART-Blog.com and do a search for either for stunning examples.
