Always look forward to your posts David another great capture. You get lots of opportunities and shoot very often. I love the hanging legs and the intense stare for the landing spot. Wish for a better head angle. TFS

Must have been a decent crop, you have a halo and some noise...

Love the flight pose, but the image looks over exposed here....The tree sure makes for a great BG.

I like the pose and all with those dangling feet, but you have the same dark outline around much of the bird just as last time. You're getting some fun flight poses

Hi David super cool somewhat comical flight pose , well timed and I do like the framing .

The warm light is really sweet ... but think you have " lost the warmth" in the really bright feathers in parts .
Wondering where the fine feather structure is gone ??

Personally I would try to avoid halos by more precise masking .... as there is a ( I am guessing ) sharpening halo along the high contrast edges , even within the subject .

David ... you still post your images in Adobe RGB color space ??? What is your thinking behind it ??

    The professor ... stated , LOL .

    TFS Andreas

I don't mind the incoming pose. The sure was nice. I'd sharpen the head some more.
