    I like this one very much. The flora frames the bird nicely. Lovely BG. My only nit pic are the shadows on the bird.

    Hi Jon .. a neat image and cool bird in calling pose !!
    I also like the framing with the thorny twigs .
    Color and and tones are looking really nice and the sharpening is again well done , IMHO .
    Personally really like the " sharpening effect" in your most recent frames . Well done !!!

    The shadows on the bird are a bit unfortunate or not ideal .... but not much you can do

    Nice image, Jon! I like the framing with the rose branches and the exposure seems to be spot on.
    Mr and Mrs Blackcap visited my garden to clean out the berries on the ivy, but I didn't manage a shot. Lovely little birds and a wonderful song. Hopefully they will nest locally and return.
