    Dan, very pretty with the flowers and dew drops.

    Comp works nicely and it's cool to see the iridescence you got on an otherwise pretty drab bird.

    Just enough HA and eye contact. You might consider toning down the highlights in the flowers.

    I love images of birds that more often than not ignored, such as most blackbirds. You did it justice here with a nice low angle and a pretty setting. I like the idea of toning down the bright flowers. You could also use the burn, and sponge tools (desat), to remove the faint oof grass in front of the belly, but all else looks super as is.

    looking good, you got the pretty iridescent, tiny bit of shadow but not a biggie. sharp with plenty details
