I know nothing about what you can achieve with this camera, but on the dullesr of days you extracted all those colours out of those fabulous heads. Sharp too.Spring should have got get you some sunshine.

What a lovely shot. Smooth light and a great range of pastels.

    Jon:

Love the interaction/pose, soft light giving subtle colours.

I would consider a bit off the top. I do think it needs a slight CW rotation. Lots of factors to look at, but the overall impression is that it does need a bit of rotation.

    Cheers

It does need rotation and looks like iso4000..not bad and nice poses, did the best in bad light..

Fabulous pose and lovely colors. To my eye it could use just a slight touch of additional sharpening, but that could be the result of the high ISO. In any event its a shot I would love to have.

Hi Jon ... what a cool shot .
Love the overall intimacy of this courting behavior .

Colors are looking quite realistic and the tones as well .
Your NR tool has forgotten some noise ....

Well done Jon....looking good......Beautiful birds and you captured them well here....I like how it shows the difference in size between the male and female...The colours on the birds look good and natural..

The the interaction with the crossed bills. The Framing is nice. Like the earth tones on the birds and the water.
