I like the subject and colours exposure etc. I find the central area a little distracting because it does not appear to be in focus.

Thank you. Yes since it was very windy, I could get do focus stacking.

I like the framing. Their is a nice balance of texture between the petals and the stamens. You did very well in the wind. What are you using for a rail>?

I used focusing rail because it was really difficult to place the tripod and move it around in position for this image.
So, I placed the tripod close and then used focusing rail to move and align the parallel to the subject.
I love to know if anyone else uses focusing rails.

I love the composition and the color. I have been having a few issues with depth of field and focus (and wind) while learning to photograph sunflowers, so your post is educational for me as well. I want to get back out to Utah in the worst way. Keep these coming...you're inspiring me.

I like the composition and colors. Nice image. I have thought about focus rails, but the new cameras are coming out with in camera focus bracketing. I may buy one of those in the near future.
