Miracle

This Wigeon drake was nearly full-frame. It was the frame shorty before the full-frame wings down capture I posted a few weeks ago.

UPDATE ON OUR SON:
First off, I miss the BPN community greatly. Haven't shot in over 5 weeks, which is quite a change as I was getting out a couple times per week. But I have felt so blessed by the prayers and warm wishes. Several of you reach out to check in and it is greatly encouraging.
As far as the cancer, we are on the precipice of a miracle. God is doing something amazing. While Dr's still are not 100% sure what this officially is, each week the news improves. If you'll believe this, the pathology samples have now been sent out to an international panel including world class pathologists in Italy.
Last week the ENT called Jill after they began telling us they were thinking Myofibroma. She looked it up and most often it is a benign tumor diagnosis. So she asked him, "Is this cancer or not?" The ENT said, at this point we are treating it as though it is NOT cancer. WHAT?? Keep in mind they never ONCE ever even hinted that it may not be cancer over the past month.
They scheduled a tumor removal surgery on April 9 and the Dr will treat the surgery as though it is benign, meaning they will not worry about removing margin around the tumor. At this point we believe it is a miracle. We went from a likely aggressive cancer which would require high intensity chemo, to us being told this really isn't acting like cancer at this point.
Anyhow, our prayers have been heard and have been answered mightily. Thank you for joining in doing so with us!
I hope to get back out with the camera soon....

Lets get the photo out of the way - awesome shot!
Right, moving onto the important stuff - great news about the nipper, I can only imagine the worry and pain the original news must have caused. Lets hope this latest news is correct and the limit of his suffering is a bit of discomfort and a few scars! Finger crossed and best wishes from over the pond

I think this is one of, if not your best duck image, gorgeous colours super wing position and well lit.
So pleased to see you have had some good news.

My prayers will go out for your child. You and your family are probably incredibly exhausted from this emotional roller coaster. I pray that the end of the journey will be smooth.
