    merhaba

çok iyi detay. çerçeve yatay olarak genişleyebilir, kuş çok yakındır, gözler genellikle bu tür detaylara alışık değildir :)

    perfect.

Cute bird, good perch, beautiful background with a slight gradient in colour from left to right! A better head angle would be great here as it is looking way from us here. Bill clean-up would be good too, and relatively easy to do if inclined to do so. Awesome details, and the yellows perfect.

Andreas, a very pretty canvas. Lots of rich yellows and oranges.

You produced lots of detail in the yellows, which isn't always easy. Agreed that the bkg gradient is nice and also agree a slight bit more head turn would have been sweet.

Love the subtle details like the remnants on the beak and lichen/moss on the branch. Helps a good bit.

    TFS.

Great colour palette and nicely framed and presented. As this is a setup I'd prefer not to have a perch that intersects the bird and gets him a little lower to eye level. Love the BG

Lovely shot Andreas, I have no reason to believe this is any less or more sharp than the previous Siskin but when you look at the head there is obviously much more contrast in the feathers and lores - I think this gives a greater appreciation of apparent sharpness.
You are in control of the scenario so I would suggest a more level angle as opposed to slightly inclined, maybe a slightly more interesting perch and if the bird gives the classic head turn that would be nice also. Looking forward to more!

Thanks folks , thanks so much for your great feedback .

Daniel - the " clean up thingie " in any subject is big No No No in the vast majority of my images . I try to keep my editing to a competition level , meaning this kind of thing is not acceptable in any serious competition . Not meaning that i am not doing it .... but try to be minimalistic on that front , albeit this clean up stuff is so simple in todays world .

Brian --- I try hard to get the best out of every image , you know that !!

Jon and Mike , one word to you and others who criticize the head angle , perches , poses , shooting angle and something else along those lines ....

Personally I am looking very much different to these themes .... albeit I fully respect your views , but for me these facts are less important and I do accept any flaws a lot easier than all of you . At least that is my personal impression .... and you can see that by my comments to other members . These things are a nice bonus , IMHO. If I have a choice between two images with i.e. different head angles ... I would also choose the " better " one , but would not ask for a better one if there is no other shown in the posting .

On the other hand , I do not " accept " technical flaws in post processing that easy as many others do .

    That's how it is .

But I am open and happy to your suggestions . Folks can grab me with technical flaws to my images, not so much with the other named stuff above .

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Will , sorry for replying so late .
    Thanks for the RP .
It does look ok to me , but prefer my more " punchy" version .... a mix of both would be ok too .

What bothers me a tiny bit , is the " fact" that you just reduced the yellows . If I do make such adjustments , I do always use a luminosity mask to make the edit through . Many times I use two layers one for the lights and one for the darks .

    Cheers Andreas
