    Good colors on the mallard, like the down wing position. The water seems to have an aqua look, just looks odd to me.

    Thanks Jack for commenting on my image. This is the color of the water, no changes in color balance or saturation were made. The water is a blue/green shade were the two rivers meet. Look forward to seeing more of your images.

    Hi Jim ... looks good to me .
    I do like the pose and the small pieces of ice in the water .
    Personally I would sharpen the subject a fraction more .

    Colors are looking good and I really like the water color ..

    Jim, nice job getting a wings down pose here and on a solid angle toward the lens.

    Nice job getting a good amount of iridescence on the head and even some of the purple speculum.

    I like what you did to compose with the ice at the bottom, not cutting it off. Water drops add.

    Pretty solid frame!
